Kannur Lokesh Rahul (born 18 April 1992), commonly known as KL Rahul and also as Lokesh Rahul, is an Indian Cricketer who plays as a right-handed batsman and occasional wicket-kepper. He plays for India internationally, Karnataka in domestic cricket and the RCB in the IPL. He is among the most highly rated opening batsmen in India's next generation.
Rahul was born on 18 April 1992 to K. N. Lokesh and Rajeshwari in Mangalore, where he grew up. Lokesh is a professor, Department of Civil Engineering and acting Director at the National Institue of Technology of karnataka in Surathkal near Mangalore.
